        I offer personalized and group dog training lessons and seminars for GSP or Malinois dog owners and handlers to help them enjoy happier and more enjoyable fun life with their four-legged friends.

A bit about me...

        I have life a long experience in training dogs from the smallest “couch dogs” to the toughest military working partners. I have also worked, Titled and helped to prepare dogs to National and World Championships in Tracking, Obedience and Protection in the sport of Schutzhund and worked with many wonderful people and their dogs at the highest level of training worldwide. I am also a GSSCC certified protection helper. 

       In last few years I focused mainly on training Protection Dogs, Bird Hunting Pointing dogs and the Mushing Sports such as Dog Sledding and Bikejoring with all of our dogs as well and, of course, all pet dog issues. 

      My training is focused on Positive Reinforcement and keeping everything as much Fun as possible. After all only happy dog will perform the way we want him to and will be eager to do it again the next time ... 

 Basic Training for pups and adult dogs:

  I offer a specialized Puppy Training Program in Red Deer Ab and Vancouver BC. This is geared to developing healthy, respectful (listening), and mentally stable pets or working dogs. Our puppy Training Seminars are mostly geared toward the common issues:

Pulling on Leash

Recall

Sit

Down

Walking off Leash and often Crate training, Nail trimming and we also always try to address all individual requests.

            

    I am also able to structure a program for Working Puppies/Dogs in the field of Schutzhund, IPO, Ring Sports, Competitive Obedience, Tracking, Dock Diving or Hunting Dogs.

Puppies in our program will learn to:

1.     Walk on Leash
   
2.     Pay attention and listen around other dogs and distractions
3.     Develop proper Behavior
4.     Establish proper foundation for Recall Training
5.     Establish proper foundation for the Sit Command 
6.     Establish proper foundation for the Down Comma
7.     Get their Nails Trimmed and Stay in a Crate
8.     Most of all we will be developing a healthy, positive, and constructive relationship between YOU and YOUR new puppy. This is NOT a "Puppy Socializing" class where you let your dogs run around and have a chit-chat with friends. This is an honest day-long quality Training Seminar which we try to keep low-key and fun but it is filled with a lot and lot of theory ;) with hands-on work and we try to teach you as much as possible. I have developed this system after years of working with clients and structured it in the best possible and most effective way I can. Our seminars run all day and we usually provide lunch as well. 

 

Specialized Training:

  I offer One on One lessons and occasionally group lessons for adult dogs who want to take it to the next level.

 If you feel you would like to get further with your training and if you find you are enjoying yourself doing it then we could move on to bigger and better things :) Sky is the limit here really and the results depend only on You, Your Dog and the Time and Precision you are willing to invest into it. This is when simple training turns into a Lifestyle ...

  I Occasionally set up Tracking Clinics for all who are interested in experiencing a whole new level of communication and co operation between your self and your dog. These seminars are usually lot of fun and low key. Dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds are welcome!

Dog Import:


  I specialize in quality Hunting Dogs (Pointers) and the old Czech Army working lines of German Shepherd Dogs and Belgian Mals. I have a lifelong experience with these dogs and their bloodlines. If you are someone looking for a dog from the famous Border Patrol Breeding Stud Farm “Z Pohranicni Straze” I might be able to help you find the right dog for you. I would like to say though that because of the nature of these dogs and their high drives these dogs are NOT for the average owner, on the other hand, they might be the best dog in the world in the right hands, this is why I pick my clients very carefully.
